Lady Gwen Cover Reveal!

Hello! I am so excited to finally be writing this post!

If you’re new here (welcome!), I’m the author of Captain Guinevere and have been working on the sequel for quite some time now. I had hoped to release its sequel, titled Lady Gwen, last November, but this book has really been difficult and that didn’t happen. But today I’m sharing the cover with you all!

This book has been a hard one; middles are notoriously difficult and I have to agree, but once this one’s done I can move on to the end and I am seriously looking forward to all the drama that will go down in that one.

But without further adieu…

I worked with the lovely Rebecca Treadway ( again on the cover and I love it! I’m so excited to have my two leading men there. Aldric (the dark-haired one) was actually based on one of my fellow cast members- I officially introduced myself after my mom asked him to model so that was interesting.

Lady Gwen will release in April and I will let you all know the exact date as soon as I figure that out.

Have you read Captain Guinevere? What do you think of the cover?

The Aesthetic from the Valentine’s Day Write Tag

A couple of weeks ago, I did the Valentine’s Day Write Tag and asked you guys who you wanted to see an aesthetic for, and nobody really agreed, for lack of a better word. Kat Impossible (creator of the tag) voted for Nikolai and Amira and I decided that would be the best one at this point.

Also, tomorrow I’ll be releasing the cover for Lady Gwen and will start to share snippets, aesthetics (including one for Veronica, Angelica), etc., so keep an eye out for all of that!

It was a blast to create a romantic aesthetic for Nikolai and Amira (they are one of my favorite couples to write) and I hope you enjoy it!

Let me just say: finding a couple that even vaguely resembles the two of them is a pain. She’s Arabic and he’s extremely pale so you can imagine how hard that is. But I like how it turned out!

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Review

So this is exciting- it’s my first strictly makeup post on this blog!

This concealer came out recently and has gotten a ton of hype as a dupe for Tarte Shape Tape. I haven’t tried Shape Tape, so I can’t say if this is a dupe or not, but regardless, this concealer is AMAZING. I’ve had trouble finding one I liked lately and when I heard about this one, I decided to try it and am so glad I did.

I love the packaging; the rosy pink is such a pretty color! It applies easily and the doefoot applicator picks up the right amount of product. The coverage is fabulous and after setting with powder it stays all day. It’s very full coverage and I find it lasting even after my foundation has started to wear off.

I do wish it contained a little more product, but that’s seriously my only complaint. I’ll gladly pay $7 every month or so for something that works so well.

Have you tried this concealer? What do you think?
